Anisul Hoque is a well known Bangladeshi writer. He is working now in Bangla Newspaper Daily Prothom Alo as a sub-editor. He received several awards, including Bangla Academy Award. He was born in 4th March 1965 in Nilfamary, Bangladesh. His home town is Rangpur. He studied at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET).

Bibhutibhushan Bandyopadhyay (September 1, 1894 - November 1, 1950) was a popular Indian Bengali writer. He originally gained fame by writing novels and short stories. His best-known novels are Pather Panchali and Oporajito. His other popular novels are Aranyak, Adorsho Hindu Hotel, Chander Pahar, Ichamoti, and Oshoni Sanket. Based on Bibhutibhushan’s novel Pather Panchali, Satyajit Ray's film achieved international repute. For his novel, Ichamoti Bibhutibhushan were awarded West Bengal’s highest literary award Rabindra Award (after death) in 1951.

Review of the Novel:
The Old Man and the Sea first published in 1952. Ernest Hemingway, the author of the World Celebrated Novel. The novel was awarded ‘Pulitzer Prize for Fiction’. Later, the author in getting the Nobel Prize in literature the novel is discussed as seriously. The novel has been translated into several languages.

Thus begins the story: an old man, in the Gulf Stream fishing alone. Today, eighty-four days, he could not catch a single fish. The first forty days a boy was with him. But after forty days when they have no fish, the boy’s parents told him the old man has been unlucky so extreme. Their orders, the boy have gone to another boat and in the first week, they caught three big fish. Every day the old man back in the empty boat, to see this, the boy became upset.
