Basik Ali cartoon strip is first time published in the editorial page of Daily Prothom Alo in November 2006. This daily strip cartoons main subject is funny events of family, friendship and office. Basik Ali is the elder son of prominent loan defaulter businessmen Talib Ali and his wife Moli Ali.
Basik’s younger sister Nechar Ali is a student of Medical College and his younger brother Magic Ali is a school student.
Basik’s close friend is Hillol and Basik's girl friend is his office colleague Riya Hoque. This book has been compiled one year of the publications of Basic Ali.
