Serina is a Bangla science fiction book written by a very famous Bangladeshi writer Muhammed Zafar Iqbal. He was born in 23rd December, 1952 in
Sylhet. His father Foyjur Rahman Ahmed was died in LiberationWar 1971.
Zafar Iqbal is a very popular science fiction, story and novel
writer in Bangladesh. He is also a scientist and a professor of Shahjalal
Uneversity of Science and Technology (SUST), Sylhet. Most of children’s are
like him very much for his Children Story Books.
Summary of the Science Fiction
Serina
Shamim is a doctor. He came from America after
complete his study. His wife and daughter were died in a road accident. One day
he was travelling by train.
Suddenly the train is stop for technical problem. That
time Shamim came out from the train and start walking on a village path. Then
he meets with a small girl, at a time he found a child on a swamp. Shamim take
this child and the child is growing up as Shamim’s daughter.
This child name Serina. She can live in water
without taking breath! For the power she faced a very terrible life. Some foreign
people try to kidnap her. One time they kidnapped her but Serina’s school
friends are pulled her free.
At last she starts live in a sea with Dolphins and
Whales. She can’t live with her father for the world’s powerful gentle terror!
