Bangla Poem Book Je Jole Agun Jole (The water where fire is ignited) written by a very
well known poet Helal Hafiz. He is a modern Bangladeshi Poet. He was born in 7th
October 1948 in Netrokona, Bangladesh. His father’s name Khurshed Ali Talukdar
and mother’s name Kokila Begum. He passed SSC exam from Netrokona Datta High
School in 1965 and HSC exam from Netrokona College in 1967 then he studied at
University of Dhaka. He wins Bangla Academy Award for poetry in 2014.
This
popular Bangla Poem Book Je Jole Agun Jole is first published in 1986.
In this book Helal Hafiz wrote some excellent poem. It is a collection of total
56 poems these is wrote in 1969 to 1985. Most of the poems are written for his
love Helen. The poem Nishiddho Sompadokiyo (The Banned Editorial) made him
famous. Feriwala (Koshto Nebe Koshto) and Prosthan is my favorite poem written
by Helal Hafiz.
