Sotero
Bosor Boyese (In Seventeen Years Old) is a Bangla Novel Book written by a very
famous Indian Bengali poem and novel writer Sunil Gangopadhyay. This Indian Bengali Novelist and Poet is also
popular in West Bengal and Bangladesh. He was born in 7th September
1938 in Faridpur, Bangladesh and died in 23rd October 2012 in South
Calcutta for a heart attack. He studied at University of Calcutta.
Summary
of the story of Sotero Bosor Boyese
This
Bangla novel Sotero Bosor Boyese is written about some 17 years old boys Nilu,
Utpol, Vaskor and Ashu. Nilu is the narrator of the story. They live in
Calcutta. Once they go outside from their town for visit. There they meet with Ovijit
and Sonjoy’s family and get very close with them.
Ranu
is a member of that family, she is the elder sister of Ovijit and Sonjoy and
sometimes she becomes mad. Nilu like her so much. One day Ranu suddenly lost.
Everyone is looking her. Then Ajit find her in a jungle, in there she was
crying that time as usual her brain was out of control.
After
the incident Ajit and Ranu became very close to each other. Ranu loves him very
much. Once Ajit wants to get marries with Ranu. After some days everyone found
that Ajit was a criminal! Police arrested him. For the trouble Ranu becomes
completely crazy.
